Juneteenth Celebration Scheduled at Sylvan Park

The city of Redlands will host the 9th Annual Juneteenth Celebration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Sylvan Park, 601 N. University St.

The Juneteenth Celebration is a vibrant, family-friendly event honoring community, culture, heritage and history. This free event includes live music and entertainment, activities, games, and cultural experiences for all ages.

Food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase.

Guests can visit the free FamilySearch experience presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Explore family history, discover ancestral connections and learn about historical resources including Freedmen’s Bureau records.

The interactive experience encourages families to learn more about their roots and the stories that help shape generations. Additional vendor applications are still being accepted.
