The Loma Linda Area Parks and Historical Society will host the 2026 Loma Linda History Fair on Sunday, June 14 from 2 – 4 p.m.
This family friendly event that has been presented several times since 2001 and is a chance to visit with others who care about the past, ask questions of experts, and suggest how we might better preserve our history.
Attendees can expect to see:
* Photos and documents on display describing the history of Loma Linda, Bryn Mawr, the
Mission District and other local history.
* Documentary films produced by the Society about Mound City (the early name of what
we now call Loma Linda)
* Opportunities to share stories about life in Loma Linda. You can be video recorded for
posterity.
* A station where helpers will scan your photos and documents that relate to Loma Linda’s
past, including the surrounding area. Anyone who shares their images with the Society
will receive a flash drive with their scanned images and will keep their original images.

* Activities and prizes for children who attend.
* Books about local history will be on sale, including “Images of America-Loma Linda” and “I Remember Loma Linda” by Mike Kunert.
* Original art prints related to Loma Linda and area history.
* See a display about the Frink Adobe Historic Park on Mission Road.
* Get an opportunity to sign up for a historic tour of significant sites in and around Loma Linda.
