University of Redlands Swimming and Diving Teams Earn National Academic Honors

REDLANDS — The University of Redlands men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2026 semester.

The CSCAA selected 714 teams representing 418 institutions for the honor, encompassing a total of 16,680 student-athletes nationwide. To qualify for the recognition, teams were required to post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the semester.

On the women’s side, 24 Bulldogs compiled a team GPA of 3.27. Four student-athletes posted a 3.70 GPA or higher, while eight finished above 3.50. The accolade marks the 19th consecutive semester the women's program has earned the academic honor.

The men's team combined for a 3.43 GPA among its 24 student-athletes. Ten Bulldogs achieved a GPA of 3.70 or higher, and another seven finished above 3.50. This is the 18th consecutive semester the men's program has received the recognition.

"This recognition celebrates the remarkable commitment these student-athletes make to excellence both in the classroom and in competition," CSCAA Executive Director Samantha Barany said. "The 714 teams honored this spring represent the very best of collegiate swimming and diving, demonstrating that academic success and athletic achievement go hand in hand. We congratulate every student-athlete, coach and institution recognized."
