Historical Society, Camera Club Partner for 50th Annual Heritage Awards Photo Contest

REDLANDS — The Redlands Area Historical Society and the Redlands Camera Club partnered for the first time to host a community photography contest celebrating the 50th anniversary of the annual Heritage Awards.
The contest focused on capturing Heritage Award-winning local homes, drawing 39 submissions from 15 individual participants.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of local judges, including Redlands Mayor Mario Saucedo, Redlands Camera Club President Bruce Herwig, and Redlands Area Historical Society President John P. Beall.
The contest winners and honorees include:
The Redlands Area Historical Society selected Paige Spee’s photo as their honorable mention, “Honoring the Heritage of Our Area.”
Alex Mitroff’s photo was selected by the Redlands Camera Club for Photographic Excellence honorable mention.
This photograph by Linda DeBaun earned the Mayor’s Honorable Mention for Distinctive Architecture from Mario Saucedo.
Caitlin Brown’s Halloween motif of 433 W. Olive Ave. won second place.
